Digital Economy Future Directions Paper18 January, 2009
|By Allison Orr|
The Australian government has released a consultation paper on the future of the digital economy. It is a draft paper that outlines the themes and suggestions raised at the workshops and forum held last year, chaired by Senator Conroy, and is part of the ongoing consultation process in preparation for the Digital Economy Future Directions paper.
The Future Directions paper, which is planned to be released in the first half of 2009, will describe the nature of the digital economy, the benefit it offers Australians and will include case studies. This consultation paper is outlining areas where Government and industry can maximise Australia’s online participation.
