The US government's General Services Administration has brought together a series of articles on eGovernment and eDemocracy in their Fall 2007 newsletter.  The newsletter, How E-Government is Changing Society and Strengthening Democracy, includes more than 20 short articles by different authors covering areas such as "Building Trust in Government", "Engaging Citizens" and "Getting to Mature Democracy".

Citing current problems of distrust and disengagement with democracies, Darlene Meskell, writing in the lead article, says, "This newsletter explores some of the many ways technology is making government processes more accessible and expanding citizen participation in public policy decision-making."

The newsletter includes an article from the Australian Government Information Management Office on Australia’s Principles for ICT-Enabled Citizen Engagement.
