This site is a clearing house for information about Australian eDemocracy.

It is a collaboration between a number of Australian organisations involved in using Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) to bring governments and citizens closer together with each other and includes:

Australian eDemocracy is edited by Allison Orr.  Allison has a PhD in political science, focusing on political language and democratic processes in the digital age.  Allison is Operations Manager at Per Capita, an independent progressive think tank.

Information relevant to Australian eDemocracy will be regularly posted, including overseas intitiatives and developments. The site is run on the basis of a wiki with contributions being provided by sponsoring organisations. We distribute a weekly email, the eDemocracy Monitor, with links to updates to the system.
